Yes, Sullivan Stables Offers Riding Lessons

NEW FOR 2009:  Well Here we are! Another year at Sullivan Stables. Even-Though this year will be much different than all of the rest, We will still be giving lessons! But Because of the fact that we have Down-sized to only a few horses for our lesson program, I am forced to limit my number of students to only 5 per week! (with few exceptions) I will be scheduling lessons 2 weeks in advance and lessons will be on a 1st come, 1st serve basis.

Also because of this downsize, I cannot take in any new beginners =( because the horses that we are now working with! They are still very safe horses, But it is not safe to work with a beginner on a more advanced horse! So Students who have already been through a beginner program may schedule a lesson.

Also, Anyone who has there own horse to use in a lessons is encouraged to join. We just have to make some plans.

Again, I am sorry for this change. I love to work with kids and teach them that horses arnt so bad, And with knowlage.. you can work safly with them and build a relationship of trust! For more information, Just give me a call!

Thanks again Abby Ward

______________________________________________

Sullivan Stables offers many different lesson programs. Sullivan Stables is a great place to learn about riding and working with horses. We offer everything from English and Western to Ground work and Nutrition. All of our classes are designed for your level of riding.

And you don't need a horse to ride. At Sullivan Stables we have horses here. But anyone with a horse is welcome to bring them along. At every lesson students groom, tack and walk there horses before ever riding. This gives them a chance to bond with the horse and gives the students a little bit of an idea on how to take care of a horse. And every so often Owner and Trainer Abby Ward will take students on a wonderful trail ride.

"This gives my students a chance to get out of the arena and have some fun out in the open" -says Abby.  At Sullivan Stables lessons are always fun and educational. We never do REPEAT lessons where time after time its the same thing over and over again. We like to mix our lessons up and give the students a chance to do everything. At one lesson we might work really hard at something the rider needs help on... Then after that at the next lesson play games working with the issue.

Abby has also came up with alot of really fun games for in the lesson. And no matter what our LOVELY Michigan weather decides to do, Rain or Shine, We will always do something in the lesson. Sometimes it might not be out in the arena riding, But being in the barn isnt that bad, with games to play and things to learn, Its a BLAST.
